Deciding on the right cruise ship

It’s something I know a lot of my family have tried and even though they rave about it I’ve been very unwilling to commit. But I am slowly coming around to the idea, particularly after a load of cruise ship brochures were pushed through my door recently. My question now is how do you decide on the best cruise ship to take? After all, you are going to be travelling on it for a considerable amount of time. You want to make sure you get it right.
