Monday afternoon, while I was unmindfully listening to the 6:00 news show on my way back to my trailer from work, I caught something that really grabbed my attention. The politician in New Jersey are pressing to ban all payday advance lending right away. As the newsperson was telling the report, I began to fume! The clueless congressmen are attacking Payday Loan enterprises for building financial headaches for the poor and they discernibly deduce that payday advance clients should be rescued. At that instant, I thought, that perhaps they should also focus on financial institutions that demand humongous fees for bad checks, water businesses that require late fees in addition to re-connect charges, and national charge card companies that out of the blue announce higher interest rates.
