Every year for my birthday my grandma tries to send me money in a birthday card.  It usually takes weeks to get to me, if the card even reaches me at all, because I live in the UK and my grandma lives in the United States.  My grandma is pretty stuck in her ways but she does have the internet and knows how to use it.  One day when I was talking to her on the phone I suggested that she send money online instead of sending it in the mail.  I told her how much easier it would be for the both of us and on my next birthday I received a gift of money on my birthday.
