Planning Before Shopping Saves Money and Time
March 29th, 2010 . by adminWhen I start shopping I go all out. There’s no stopping. But I don’t shop too often. I prefer to build up my list, do plenty of research, come up with alternatives and then start spending my money. I want to make sure I’m getting the best deal possible. For example, I needed to buy a baby outfit for an upcoming baby shower. I wanted these to be organic cotton, and the options in the mall were almost non-existent. I decided to look online and found I wanted at First Step Organic. They were offering free shipping if I bought two more items, so I looked at my list and quickly identified two other occasions I could use these as fun gifts. I not only saved on shipping but also was able to check off multiple lines from my list at once. That’s the benefit of planning.
