This last summer I hosted a celebration to celebrate the passing of Summer. I held this party the last week of August before the Labor Day holiday when a good share of friends and family would be out of town. This has become an annual tradition the past few years for me. I get everyone together,  have a massive BBQ and we recall the fond memories of the past few months. This year, I decided to give out “favors” to my guests. I found miniature garden hose sets and I put them next to each guest’s drinking glass. I actually made them into little magnets they could hang on their fridge. Everyone loved them and now they will have a special reminder of Summer 2010.
