February 21st, 2010 . by admin

Ever since the invention of modern refrigeration techniques, and the development of food preservation and food processing technologies, the world has seen an explosive growth in an obesity pandemic that is pervading the entire western world. With instant access to food and instant gratification, people can eat as much food as they want, anytime they want, anywhere they want, 24 hours a day. We can go grocery shopping and purchase foods that will last us for months. The problem is that we now have the ability to eat for recreation, for pleasure, and for social reasons. We no longer eat only out of necessity. For this reason, we are eating way more than our bodies need. Hence we are all becoming overweight as a civilization on the whole. Go to Home Exercise Equipment for more help and programs.
