I realized a little too late that getting pregnant after birth control was going to be a challenge. Of course, when I went on birth control and my doctor mentioned this to me, it didn’t seem to be a big deal. The whole reason I was taking birth control was to prevent pregnancy. But now that I’ve been married for a few years, my husband and I are wanting kids. We’ve been trying to conceive for about two years now. And still no luck. I suppose it is a little ironic that I really didn’t want kids for so long and now I do, and I’m having trouble. I supposed I’ve experienced a major change of mind.
