For my sixteenth birthday my parents promised me a car.  In order to get the car I had to fulfill a few promises myself I had to help pay for the car loan and for the insurance.  I work part time after school and I will have a full time job all summer to help pay for the expense.  I also had to agree to take a driver’s education course and I made the promise that I would not use my cell phone while I was driving.  My parents told me if they ever caught me on my phone while I was driving I would have my driving privileges suspended buy them for six months.
