Car audio systems often come with multiple operational functions, but many people just want the music. The audio systems of cars manufactured years back were only equipped with standard AM/FM radio and cassette decks. The vogue today includes MP3 CD extravaganzas. Some useful parts of the old model car audio system can still be used with the MP3s and CDs in vogue. Due to the nature of their manufacture, speakers are usable at all times and as long as they are still in good working order, CD and MP3 units can be connected to them in any car audio system.
